Romanian meaning
editI would like to understand what" compare also Romanian flor ("blond, with blond hair")" wants to mean. I am Romanian and my name is Florian. The name could be associated whit the idea of flowering, or even, as it is written on the Romanian Wikipedia page, whit the idea of(been) "magnificent" or with the idea of "blossom, blossoming". But whit "blond'? In Romanian "blond hair" is"blond". What does it have to do with the name Florian? A! And there is no word "flor".
