There was a section listing a bunch of notable guests, with no sources. I was automatically indicated by the system to find sources, and added them.
The entire section listing notable guests was immediately removed citing reason "Let's please not do this at all, thanks"
I don't strictly disagree, but would like to present the argument that Florent became known for its treatment of celebrities as everyday patrons, this specific fact being noted in various publications on the topic:
Even today, you can walk into Florent and see Calvin Klein dining next to a homeless transsexual dining next to an advertising executive - David Amsden, NY mag
I didn’t care if famous people could get a table, but it was important that core people could get a table - Florent Morellet, Owner
The remembrances in this film from Morellet and his former staffers and famous regulars (Julianne Moore! Isaac Mizrahi! Diane von Furstenberg!) fill in the rest of the picture. - Greg Morabito, EATER Mag
I propose the addition of a notable patrons section, focused mainly on A-list celebrities or people important to the Queer community, and only including those with verifiable sources.
You can write text that claims that they're known for this or that, with proper sourcing, but a list is really just promotional. And the material is also in the history. Drmies (talk) 05:24, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
The restaurant closed in 2008, no promotion is occurring. Your call. Onion-IO (talk) 05:28, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Source for French cuisine? If not, please remove the categories for French restaurants. Thanks! ---Another Believer(Talk) 21:54, 29 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
