Incomprehensible?

This article was tagged with {{incomprehensible}}, a template that is normally used for google translated text AFAIK. DatGuy, could you indicate what you consider to be the problem for this article? That would be helpful for other editors. Thanks --Lemnaminor (talk) 17:27, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

@Lemnaminor: Replaced with confusing. All of the seedplans, ferns and etc. What do they even mean? What are they there for? Dat GuyTalkContribs 17:35, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying! It might be better to present these as a list or a table. As to their relevance: this was one of the very first scientific expeditions to the Antarctic, so many of these species would have been described for the first time in this book. --Lemnaminor (talk) 17:48, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
I have to confess, I'm the culprit that exposes the world to this horrible and totally incomprehensible text. It is an absolute shame this is tolerated on wikipedia. Gastly. I propose it will be immediately deleted.Dwergenpaartje (talk) 15:32, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
A sacrifical offering of a De Langhe and all will be forgiven, brother. Sin no more, and beware of the new page patrol. --Lemnaminor (talk) 06:42, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
It says right in the article, "Plants collected by Hooker from Auckland and Campbell Islands are listed below". Seems rather easy to comprehend. North America1000 12:28, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
The article is clear and simple. If it's just that there are lists of names of species, then perhaps a little study of articles such as species would help. Chiswick Chap (talk) 17:09, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
For the record, I moved the lists to four subsidiary articles. Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:58, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
