GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

  1. Is it well written?
    A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
In the lead and "Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo" & merchandise sections, "In it" doesn't sound encyclopedic, maybe changing it to something else might work. Same section, add "show" after "competition". In the Episode summary, "When she does, audition" ---> "When she does audition,". Same section, "When she thinks she's finally made it" ---> "When she thinks she is finally made it". In the Production section, the start of the sentence, "It and Perry's", doesn't sound right. Same section, "..."Rollercoaster," they choose "Flop Starz" ---> "..."Rollercoaster," they chose "Flop Starz".
    All fixed.
    Check.
    B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
Throughout the article, link "biker", "Madonna", and "tween" to their correspondence articles. In the Episode summary, is it necessary to link "breakfast" and "flag pole"? Same section, you might want to say what The Next American Pop Teen Idol Star! is, I know its mentioned in the lead, but its helpful if its mentioned in the summary. Same section, you might want to avoid using "inspires", since its a peacock term. The hyphen needs to be a dash. In the Cultural references section, "...as well, the title of her hit single I'm Lindana and I Wanna Have Fun is referent to the hit song Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper" ---> "...as well, the title of her hit single "I'm Lindana and I Wanna Have Fun" is referent to the 1983 hit song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper", so that it can provide context for the reader. In the "Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo" & merchandise section, "&" needs to be "and", per here. Same section, "Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo" is reportedly one of the twenty-six songs from the series official soundtrack, set for release in September of this year" ---> "Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo" is reportedly one of the twenty-six songs from the series official soundtrack, set for release in September 2009", since September is next month, you want to avoid outdated statements.
    All fixed.
Half-check. Keep in mind that songs are supposed to be in quotes, not italics.
    Fixed.
Also, I already have linked those three things - look again.
No, you don't understand. You do have them linked to an article, but when you click on it, they end up in a disambiguation page.
    Oh! Okay, now it's done.
    Check.
  2. Is it verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check?
    A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
The link title in Reference 3 is not supposed to be in all capitals, per here. Why are the titles in References 5 and 7 italicized? Also, References 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, and 19 are missing "accessdate". In addition, Reference 5, 7, and 9 are missing Publisher info.
All fixed. 5 and 7 are italicized because it's the video reference. Also, can you help me a bit - is there any template/setup I can use for refs 3 and 17?
Oh, okay. I needed to know, cause it was weird that they were italicized. Well, for Reference 3 you can use {{cite news}}, since the source is a press release. As for Ref. 17, I guess that's fine, since you are citing the album.
Okay, done - I'll also use Cite album-notes for the latter. Also, how do you think I should use the Opening/ending credits ref ([3])?
    I mean ref 2.
    For Ref. 2 use {{cite episode}}.
    Thanks! Done.
    B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):
    C. It contains no original research:
    D. It contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. It addresses the main aspects of the topic:
    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
  4. Is it neutral?
It represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each:
  5. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    File:Flop Starz.jpg needs a lower resolution.
I did so, but it's not doing anything. I think the cache needs to go through, but I have it at 255px in stead of 500.
Actually, you have it as 500 x 313 pixels, its still high.
Like I said, I saved a 255px version, reuploaded it twice, but it's not working. Is it a cache error?
    Now it's fixed! :)
    Bingo. ;)
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
If the statements above can be answered, I will pass the article. Good luck with improving this article!
