The Public Law cite is incorrect. The cited P.L. is an extension of the bituminous coal act. The correct cite is 74 P.L. 738.

Projects covered by the act edit

I'm not clear on the intent of this section. My understanding is that all dams built for flood control are covered by the Act, thus listing two dams built in the 1960s seems to be not illustrative and potentially misleading. If my understanding is correct, the best move is likely to remove the section and explain in preceding text the scope of the legislation. I believe Norfork dam may have been the first dam built by the USACE under this act. --Musides (talk) 15:27, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
