Rewrite this in plain English, please edit

I removed the following sentence/paragraph from the article in chief:

A specialist in convergent network solutions, FSS offers both Products (Licensable Technologies) and Full Spectrum Outsourcing Services to its customers for Wireline, Wireless, Next Generation Fixed or IP networks.

Obviously, this article needs some kind of description of the actual business engaged in by the enterprise in question. This text is entirely inadequate. "Convergent network solutions" is a vague string of strongly POV buzzwords without any concrete meaning I can figure. They have "products" described only as "licensable technologies" - does this mean off the shelf software, or something else entirely? I gathered that they also provide service to IP networks. But what are "next generation" networks? Some kind of vaporware? If they are providing them now, how can they be "next generation"?

Please rewrite this paragraph in plain English. Strip it of buzzwords and vacuous vogue phrases, and describe what this business offers in the most concrete possible terms. - Smerdis of Tlön 14:23, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
