Advice wanted edit
I really wanna get a flesh hole but i'm scared that it'll hurt to much. can any one help?

- OK, first, don't remain anonymous, secondly, they look retarded in my opinion and will be there years after you realize they look stupid. I have a female friend who got them, and she said, and I quote, (she was talking to me as she put them in) "MOTHERFUCKER THESE FUCKING THINGS HURT FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK." Etc. But she got over it in like an hour or so, I think. Also, that hole won't close up, depending on how big you go. They can close up no matter how big u get them. My friend had his ears to 2 inches and they closed up; on the othe rhand i had mine to 7/16 of an inch and they wont close up because i ripped it. - To answer the original question. Let me start by saying that I am 24 yr old male and have a 16mm(5/16inch)plug in only my left ear at the moment and am content with the size. Yes, it can hurt like hell. If you take it easy, do it properly & hygienically and don't rush it (go at your own pace, slower is safer) you will find that the pain is not that great but if you rush it and use implemented materials from around the house you will risk infection and possible ripping/tearing (then it is extremely painful). I went from 8mm straight to 14mm and it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced (more painful than kidney stones). After an hour or so the pain becomes rather diminished. The fact of the matter is that if you are worried about the pain then you should re-consider doing it. I believe that the pain is a major part of the experience. It brings you in touch with your body and how to deal with pain which through life is inevitable. For those people that say it is disgusting, hideous or ugly. That is your opinion that you are entitled to... However, each to there own. for instance I believe that too big is not attractive so I stopped at 16mm but most people don't do it do be attractive, they do it because they don't give a stuff what others think.
