Fleet Base East redirect to HMAS Kuttabul - Proposal to Remove edit

This page has been redirecting searches for Fleet Base East to the page for HMAS Kuttabul. HMAS Kuttabul is one of the establishments and facilities that make up Fleet Base East but it is not Fleet Base East itself. I am currently editing the HMAS Kuttabul page to reflect this and am going to remove the redirection from this page and make it a stand-alone article about Fleet Base East. I will link to the different pages for the different units and facilities that, taken together, make up Fleet Base East. This will include HMAS Kuttabul. Stuart midgley (talk · contribs)

I have now gone ahead with this and removed the page redirection to HMAS Kuttabul. I have written a reasonably comprehensive article on Fleet Base East, listing the different establishments and facilities which make it up, with some historical context and listing the other navy bases on Sydney Harbour that are not part of Fleet Base East but are part of the overall navy presence. I have copied the list of ships stationed from the HMAS Kuttabul page to this page as they are actually stationed to Fleet Base East and not HMAS Kuttabul. I will delete the list from the Kuttabul page in due course. The article still needs some work, including references, which I will attend to soon.
