Talk:Flat IP

Tagged August 2011 as not providing information about the topic. As noted below, it doesn't impart any knowledge about Flat IP, only who is using it and why. Ereisch (talk) 19:26, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

This article reads like a business presentation showing all the benefits of "Flat IP".

It does not explain what "Flat IP" is.

True. I was hoping for a slightly more technical description that describes the difference to Hierarchical networks. The term "Business presentation" fits well here unfortunately. :/

In other words

edit

In other words, in a simple and single word: IPv6.

IPv6 started in 1998. I started using it in 2001. Computing technologies usually spread in 6 months and have 2y life time. IPv6 should have spread by 1999, and be outdated before 2002. We are now in 2013, and nobody using it yet.

The most amasing thing is that this article describes, and tells all advantages of IPv6 without even mentioning it !!!

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Flat IP. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
