I was told that during the Belgian Congo years, the Belgian flag was generally flown beside the Congo flag. If this is true, it's worth noting in the article.Dynzmoar (talk) 17:40, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Presidential standard of Zaire edit
Someone should make an image of the Zaire president's flag, which is probably one of the stupidest flags which has ever existed (yellow silhouettes of a jet fighter, tank, and gunboat on a red field). There's an image at http://flagspot.net/flags/cd-zr.html , and a clearer depiction in Guide to the Flags of the World by Mauro Talocci, revised and updated by Whitney Smith (ISBN 0-688-01141-1), p. 150.
