I'm pretty sure that this is what they said. I have it on a recording. If you want proof, give me your email address and I'll send you the clip. Also, I wasn't sure how to cite my source for this, because it was a recording I got off of the internet (yes, it was legal).

Flag design

This flag is remarkably ugly. The book "Canadian City Flags: 100 Flags from Abbotsford to Yellowknife" (ISBN 978-0-9747728-3-7) refrains from obvious editorializing, but it does say "It has been suggested the design is reflective of what an inebriated person might draw while attempting to draw the Stars and Stripes"! -- AnonMoos (talk) 07:33, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
