Cute. Not an encyclopedia topic though. --Wetman 06:41, 11 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I didnt expect this to appear either, but hey, it does say alot on Singaporean materialism. ;) In fact, there was a major feature in the local paper on this issue, so hopefully there will be someone willing to fully develop on this. :D --Huaiwei 17:50, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Is it a current joke? When was its popularity peak? Samnikal 01:13, 15 April 2006 (UTC)]Reply
It has been around at least 16-18 years (when credit cards and country clubs started appearing) and the phase is still widely used today. It is used not only in jokes, but also to refer to the competitiveness in society, personal ambitions, etc. --Vsion 04:44, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
