Fishguard Flyer? edit

Where does this name come from? According to the NR timetable [1], the train is not named. – Tivedshambo (talk) 06:40, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Follow up: A quick scan on Google [2] only gives 9 results, which seem to imply the name was an enthusiasts nickname used for the class 50 diesel hauled trains which finished in 2006. I've therefore removed references to the name, as it certainly doesn't seem to be official. – Tivedshambo (talk) 06:46, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps the enthusiasts nickname "Fishguard Flyer" (assuming an enthusiasts nickname is what it is) could have come from the fact that the daytime service has in recent years often been one of the fastest services into west Wales, calling only at Llanelli and Whitland and bypassing Swansea (which few other sceduled services do) and Carmarthen (the only scheduled service to do so). Weird coordinates? edit

For some reason, one of the three coordinates for this station sourced from this article is not right, as is demonstrated here. I can't see where the culprit of this mishap could be on this article. If anyone can assist in fixing this mishap, I'd greatly appreciate it, since it's not obvious to me. Jalen Folf (talk) 08:12, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
