Additions edit

I added some links about adjective usage. This page could be about the noun usage: I travelled in first class. Also: I sent the letter in first class. There is clearly a single concept (or two concepts, if you prefer).

The computing-related articles are of separate concepts, so they shouldn't all be on this page. But as the use is adjective, you can append basicly any term to get a phrase a visitor might try to look for, and they're likely to search for this "first class" to find out what it is about. That's why I added the disambiguation to this page.

There are further articles with "first class" in their name, I suppose some of those should be linked as well, if it's not clear that the visitors know the full name phrase.

Article Re-write edit

I have amended a fairly large amount of text and corrected spelling and formatting mistakes. This article only deals with First Class travel - not First Class mail, degrees etc. If these pages do not exist they should be created by people knowledgable on these subjects. If a user types 'First Class' into seach, they will be presented with a list of articles matching their criteria. Links to First Class mail etc. do not, therefore, need to be added to this article. Article Re-write (2) edit

I have amended this quite poor article, and it was deleted without any mention in the history... How comes? This article needs much improvement, amendment and links. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Roydefrance (talkcontribs) 10:28, 21 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Bad wording? edit

In the United Kingdom section, "On some overcrowded commuter services First Class seating is identical to Standard class. However its higher cost ensures the First Class ticket holder a better chance of finding a seat." Although I'm not sure that is actually true.

Page Merging edit

The “First class (aviation)” and “First class travel” pages should be merged into a single page since they are both concerned with first class travel. 174.22.31.193 (talk) 22:56, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with List of first class commuter transport services edit

Not a notable list; could easily be merged. ««« SOME GADGET GEEK »»» (talk) 03:56, 12 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
