Talk:Firing points

In modern British army parlance, a 'firing point' is a particular distance to the targets on a firing range or the place from which a terrorist bomb was detonated. This 'firing point' sounds more like 'Strong-Point'. This term was, I believe, more common in WW I. Ds page, anyone ?
