I wouldn't say Firestarter was Prodigy's first big (inter-)national hit. No Good (Start the Dance) was very successful as well - only earlier. --Abdull 20:21, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Appearances, covers and parodies

I removed the text "The song was played on Celebrity Big Brother 2007 (UK) when housemate Jackiey Budden was shown video clips of herself in the Big Brother house." as it did not fit in the "Appearances, covers and parodies" section it was listed in Briantist 23:20, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Empirion

There's a brief note about the Empirion mix, but it makes it sound like this mix was done by Prodigy, and doesn't mention anything about Empirion. For that matter, why doesn't Empirion have a page on Wikipedia? They were an amazing band, and did a hell of a lot more than this remix. 66.68.84.9 (talk) 00:22, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Poor lead section

"Firestarter" is a song by the English band The Prodigy, released on 19 March 1996. It was the first single from their third album The Fat of the Land, and their tenth single. It was also the group's first number-one single on the UK Singles Chart, staying on top for three weeks, and their first big international hit, also reaching number one in Finland and Norway. It featured Flint's punky vocals which showcased him as the group's frontman. The title and lyrics were subject of controversy in the UK because of their violent nature. The music video further boosted these controversies.

This is a poor lead section, for example it doesn't say who Flint is but assumes we know, and contains lots of details about chart positions, but doesn't summarize the article. NotYourFathersOldsmobile (talk) 14:29, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
