Possible improvements

Needs more background - e.g. where he grew up, where he was educated.Autarch (talk) 12:08, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Phrasing

'... partly educated at University College Dublin' - what does this mean precisely? It may be better to write simply 'educated at UCD' Richarv2 (talk) 18:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Hawkeye's inspration?

I've read where Sir William Johnson was the inspiration for James Fenimore Cooper's beloved adventure character, Hawkeye. I read "White Savage..." some years ago, but don't own it. Could this be the source for that Hawkeye information as I recall? (For those of you who have not read the biography, but have an interest in Johnson, Molly Brant, Joseph Brant, Mohawk Valley of NY colonial history, or American Revolutionary War history, I recommend it.) Critical response to O'Toole's works.

Surely there must have been reviews and critical responses to O'Toole's works? Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 03:54, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

Bibliography

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates for books and articles, as well as tables for organising short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue.
