Confusing Sections

edit

The sections which list the notable people this group is confusing and hard to read. I suggest that it be edited for form and clarity. It is a rat's nest right now and it is difficult to get the needed information. Suggest removing the external links embedded within the actual articles and also creating more internal links for names to provide easier access to those articles and to say who doesn't have an article. Un-sourced entries on list of people

edit

I propose that all un-sourced names on the embedded list of people are deleted in order to comply with the guidance of WP:BLP. I have added {{cn}} tags against the most obvious unsourced. Where there are linked articles, ideally these must also include footnoted citations in this article as any original verification of names based on a link is subject to change as the linked article changes. Unless there are policy related objections or a clear rationale to comply with BLP in some other way, I shall remove uncited entries tomorrow. (talk) 13:59, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Now removed. (talk) 17:25, 8 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Overly detailed article

edit

The majority of this article is a huge collection of stats, as well as an excessive section on 'notable' people who don't have articles or, if they do, have no reliable sources attesting to their ethnicity. I'm removing all of those who have no article on them, and will be checking for reliable sources in articles verifying ethnicity.

The WP:UNDUE number of statistics is contrary to WP:NOTSTATS. If statistics are merited, they need to relevant and have a dedicated article on demographics, although I don't see it as relevant (per other stuff exists). Bearing this in mind, I've tagged the article for being overly detailed, and in serious need of more references. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:06, 16 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
