Hi, Filip Krajinovic is young tennis player that is currently in Wimbledon's juniors semifinals. He definitely deserves the place in Wikipedia. In a recent article in [Independent], Nick Bollettieri of Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy have recently compared Filip to young Andre Agassi
- While calling this a test page was not a very good reason for deletion, failing the verifiability policy is. This article is going to need some references that prove your assertions. BradV 17:47, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- There is no assertion of notability in the article as it now stands. All it says is that he goes to tennis school and that his teacher thinks highly of him, with no references to back it up. Even if the teacher is Nick Bollettieri, this means nothing for notability porposes. I'd have nominated for an A7 speedy myself if this discussion weren't here, but I'll give the author a chance to shore it up. --Finngall talk 17:53, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- This is the relevant quote given as a source:
“ | One of the brighter prospects in Serbia's upcoming generation is another kid who left home to develop, again with us at the academy, and that's a 16-year-old boy called Filip Krajinovic, who I advise you to keep an eye on. He's going to be a hell of a player: impeccable groundstrokes, hits the ball hard and early, with little spin. He's got a two-handed backhand, moves well. He reminds me in a lot of ways of Andre Agassi, except Andre was not so comfortable at the net. | ” |
- Not the sort of thing I'd expect a reliable source to say. BradV 17:56, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Filip Krajinovic made it to the semi final of Wimbledon in junior competition! I hope this fact is more than enough for this page to exist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Novak73 (talk • contribs) 16:16, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
