Dialect used in grammar edit

Using the book A Grammar of Boumaa Fijian in this article is not the best choice, the dialect referred to in the book is one from Taveuni and is not the same as the Bauan-based Standard Fijian. 122.58.18.21 (talk) 02:05, 3 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Changing Fijian to iTaukei edit

iTaukei is used in the constitution of the country. Why isn't every Wikipedia page with Fijian in it's name, including this one, renamed to the correct term? Wkpdsrnm2023 (talk) 15:41, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

There seem to be multiple names. According to Fijians#Name, the indigenous name for the ethnicity is kaiviti, and iTaukei is a legal term for indigenous Fijians. However, the language is called Vosa Vakaviti, which doesn't include the term iTaukei. I suspect that the article titles are named as such because of WP:UCRN.
