Edit warring and possible Conflict of Interest/Paid editing

edit

I am concerned that User:PeterDavid1980 has repeatedly (6 times now) deleted what I perceive as well-cited content, based upon Reliable news sources, which have now been put back in by three different editors, so that statements not conducive to the good image of this topic are no longer visible. (Specifically, it would seem, allegations that Hong Kong participants were prevented from participating as a result of threats from China.) I have asked that editor to stop edit-warring and to declare whether or not they have a Conflict of Interest under our WP:PAID policy, and specifically whether they are employed by Fierté Montréal, which seems quite possible. I have added back in the content that was deleted with this diff, and I ask that editors discuss here the appropriateness of that content remaining, and/or its permanent removal. If it remains, is it relevant, well cited and neutral in tone, and based on proper sources?

However, I do not propose to participate directly in these discussions as I know nothing about the topic, and my involvement is purely to monitor recent changes and prevent vandals and POV editors from damaging or influencing articles. However, removal of content again by the named editor without a declaration or denial of any WP:COI or WP:PAID editing on their talk page, and any further edit warring may result in those editors being taken to WP:ANI, and possibly being blocked.
