Avataric rules

I'm currently backing up this section with inline citations, so don't worry about the many {{fact}}s right now. Finding non-episode sources for most statements was alright once I got the hang of it, and I guess I'll be able to back up the other statement as well. The last paragraphs is a little OR-, fan- and list-crufty though, and I plan to trim that a little. Sofie, not Sophie

Check her bio at HBO.com. Although "Sophie" is written into the URL, her picture and bio all clearly say "Sofie." --Procrastinatrix 18:15, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Future of this article

The (still open) AfD for this article plus a few days without internet access made me rethink the structure of this article rather now than later (had to be done anyway sometime), and I found that I still believe that most of the current content of this article is very important and encyclopedic, but the presentation as an article itself is not if some actions are taken. For transparancy, I'll list below what I'll do in the next few minutes/hours and where I will/have put the info before redirecting this article as {{R from merge}} (please do not delete – GFDL reasons):

• "Overview" section - completely redundant now with Carnivàle#Plot introduction, Avatars (Carnivàle) and List of Carnivàle episodes (maybe even Ben Hawkins, Brother Justin Crowe and Characters of Carnivàle), so can be deleted.
• "Route of the carnival" section - already merged into List of Carnivàle episodes a few days ago.
• "Characters" section - main part got already moved to Characters of Carnivàle some weeks ago. Merge the big(ger) subsection "#Genealogy" there also.
• "Dreams, visions and symbolism" section - userfy "#Light and Dark" for now until I've found a better place; merge "#Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" and "#Prophetic visions" to Avatars (Carnivàle) for now where they will receive further encyclopedic trimming, tweaking and possibly expansion.
• "Knights Templar" - merge to Avatars (Carnivàle) with some encyclopedic editing still necessary; the Pitch Document has a longish section about this topic (what it was about but what the show never got to tell because of the cancellation), so I'll still have to think about what the best encyclopedic presention will be for this section
• "Avataric rules" section - was already moved to Avatars (Carnivàle) some time ago
• "Open questions" section - merge main part to Characters of Carnivàle because most of the info was about character background and character future, minor parts will be userfied for now (I think they will find a place in List of Carnivàle episodes, possibly Carnivàle); a link to the new Characters of Carnivàle#Open questions section should be included in the See also section of most Carnivàle articles, I think.
