Image edit

The previous image seems to have been deleted. The image I have added is from the candidate's own web site. patsw 03:40, 22 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Characterizing the gap in the polls edit

I removed "embarassing" from the article. It got added back and I see someone removed it. So, what gap in the poll numbers can be neutrally called or called with a consenus "embarssing"? In a two-person race, it's a number less than 50.

A 30 point gap is "significant" in my view, but it's not yet "embarassing". patsw 14:52, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • It's embarassing that a scumbag like Bloomberg can get away with buying an election so easily, but I suppose you're payed a lot of money to 'volunteer' for bloomberg, so you'll say just about anything--172.128.90.251 20:11, 5 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

New image edit

Can we find a new image, maybe a headshot, for Fernando Ferrer? I was thinking something like this but I would like a better image. --Blue387 17:50, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Better according to whom? The current image is the thumbnail from his own mayoral campaign site and intended to publicize him. He picked it. Your Wonkette image is darker and probably copyrighted by a news source. patsw 19:31, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Is there anything to back up the claim that Riverdale is the richest neighborhood in the Bronx and Hunts Point the poorest? I could believe Riverdale, but it seems extremely unlikely that Hunts' Point, a pretty stable, low-unemployment neighborhood, is the poorest.

removing POV template without ongoing discussion per Template:POV instructions edit

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 19:07, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
