Awards should be kept separate from their awarding body edit
Awards should be kept separate from the organisation that awards them as they are distinct entities. For example:
- The Academy Awards are awarded by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
In a similar way:
- Fellowship of the Royal Society (FRS) is awarded by the Royal Society
- Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences (FMedSci) is awarded by the Academy of Medical Sciences, United Kingdom
- Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) is awarded by the Royal Society of Chemistry
and
- Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh {FRSE) is awarded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh
