I'm requesting a page move from current title to "Feliks Dzerzhinsky Guards Regiment" for reason stated below:
The usual translation of "Wachregiment" is "Guards Regiment," though "Watch" is also an acceptable translation. But in English usage, the equivalent term is "Guards." E.g., units of the British army with similar functions are called "Guards," as in the Queen's "Life Guards."

Stasi-Tortured English?
The paragraph entitled "Recruitment and training" is potentially interesting but pretty unfathomable. I am not conversant in German so I cannot visit the German-language page which (I hope) makes more sense than the English one here.
Could someone try a non-google translation?
