Complexity of nationality, etc.

The question of Lyzohub's 'ethnicity' is difficult to define as it's a complex time in Eastern European history. Well, anyone who works on ethnicity articles knows that the 19th century was the time of the birth of the concept of nationality, while the 20th century brought the death knell to empires, the advent of nation states, and new geopolitical and strategic competitors (national pride, the cementing the idea of being a different people by language, culture, and other images of unity).

Both the Russian and Ukrainian Wikipedia agree on his being from the Ukrainian part of what was the Russian Empire and would have been a Russian speaker. He did not necessarily identify as being Ukrainian, nor speaking Ukrainian (although he very likely understood Ukrainian). Again, this is WP:OR on my behalf, have known one of the decadents of the Rozumovskiy family. ← By the way, where has the complete bastardization of The grandmother was like a grandmother to me, but always spoke only Russian, stating that it was her native language, and the Russian Monarch the only governance she would acknowledge. Her daughter married a Ukrainian who spoke Ukrainian at home, so their daughter considers herself Ukrainian who speaks Russian. Convoluted.

On the other hand, there are no publications in Russian I can find on him, but numerous publications in Ukrainian, but there seem to be a few in Ukrainian.
