Garaldea edit

Garaldea (land of "we are" or land of the flame)

From memory, Krutwig meant "Land of colour", "Land of the painted ones" or "Highland". Actually I think the meant all at the same time. --Error 03:16, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

That was when talking about Caledonians/Picts as Karadunak. Kara=color, laughter (archaic), also *khar is accepted as a pre-IE root for stone (like in Basque harri or German?karst).

He believed that Pict(us) was the Latin literal translation of Caledon/Karadun. --Sugaar 21:13, 6 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

F. Krutwig SAGREDO! edit

I'm pretty sure that the second surname of Krutwig was Sagredo, not Salcedo. I'm changing that. If you can document the opposite please revert. --Sugaar 11:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
