Okay where the hell did 2/3 of the wiki go? I was here two days ago and this page was much more fleshed out with a lot more important information. - The burnoutkid (April 15th, 2011) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theburnoutkid (talkcontribs) 18:23, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

This show ended up being hated as people found out it was mostly faked.

Real stuff would be better whether it was good or not.

It was not the show that made things interesting, but rather the locations. Any urban explorer knows what I am talking about.

MTV's Fear is unlike Celebrity Paranormal Project, guys. Although they both follow the same concept, CPP attempts to "investigate" haunted locations, while in Fear, they are just attempting challenged in a location said to be haunted. In fact, some of the stories of the areas are completely false to begin with. Adding a scary story to a scary location is what this is about. It doesn't matter whether the ghost stories are true, this show simply exploits on how fun it is to watch people when they are scared. And what better way to scare someone then dumping them off in a "haunted" location in the middle of night? Crazedgiggles 18:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, the show didn't ended up because people started hating it because it was "fake", at least 95% of the places they showed on TV are actually haunted. But MTV chooses to change some of the names of the locations to preffent others to stepp in and mess around. Almost all real locations are now known, and are haunted.

Well as long as we've got a credible figure like 95% (which proves that people didn't hate it because it was "fake"?) This should be committed. Someone call Funk & Wagnalls. Let's get an update on the definition of "haunted" in there as well. Dabizi (talk) 15:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually I believe at the time of its cancellation, the show was still quite popular. I believe the main reason it was cancelled was because it was getting too costly to produce. Crazedgiggles (talk) 13:35, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

But it's difficult after such episode(s) like "Mina Dos Estrellas" to find people who want to do things like that and investigate places like these.

Yes, there are rumors floating around about this. People believe they will be casting for MTV's Fear again in February 2009. I can't confirm this anywhere though, so assume it is just that - rumors - until MTV comes out and says otherwise. Crazedgiggles (talk) 13:39, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Red Snyder

edit

Having been to the prison several times it is verifiable that Red Snyder was a member of the Aryan Brotherhood and was not a loner as reported on this page. In fact he was allowed to only go out into the basketball areas with one other due to the guards fear of him committing violence or having violence committed on him. He was also quite powerful in the prison according to one guide. If he wished a prisoner dead he had the influence to make it happen. nicolasqueen 18:45, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

who is red snyder again? --IanFahrenreich (talk) 05:29, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

how exactly did they leave

edit

how exactly did exactly does every one leave if they have been taken to a secret location? and there are supposedly no other people there either?

ANSWERE

After a dare was aborted by a team member you had to remove your colour on the Computer after you've done this you leave the place the same way you've entered it, mostly with an old sack covering your face, so you are unable to see a thing, after you have left the Safehouse someone from the Fear Crew is picking you up and leading you to a save place.

Although the participants likely did not have any assistance or contact with the crew, there was probably a secondary location where the crew was camped at, to escort people who quit out and to make sure nothing bad happened like serious injury.
