How to improve this article

edit

You have found some great secondary sources! To improve this article, you should: Add at least 370 more words of prose. Copyedit the text (attending to periods, italics, etc.). Add links to the page on relevant Wikipedia lists and also add categories to the page itself. (See the course dashboard for how to do this.) - Chronophoto (talk) 02:25, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

This is a good start to the article! I corrected a few grammar errors (like sentence structure in the lead) and changed the wording in the career section to give it a more neutral tone (the sentence on her schooling mentioned her opinion). I also italicized the title of the play Me, My Mom and Sharmila and added the date after the series title Her Story. The dialogue is on the short side but you have lots of great sources so adding more information to flesh it out should not be too difficult. I would suggest finding information about her involvement in the production side of film making, especially directing if it’s available since you added a lot of information about her performances. You could also add an “early life” section or an information box and picture. Keep up the good work! Tash98 (talk) 04:47, 1 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Content needed ...

edit

I see from sources that she's done a lot of directing; a paragraph on that would be good. There are also other web series she's known for, not just the Kardashian one. These things should be mentioned in the text, not just the list at the end, so that they can be comfortably referenced.

I have changed "American" to "Canadian" based on The Guardian and the CBC. Can a source be found with where she was born and/or grew up? One source says she worked as a lawyer in Chicago, but that's the only placename I found on a quick review. That kind of biographical detail is standard, and nice for our readers to have. So is her birthdate, or at least birth year, but tehre are often no reliable sources giving that, and publicly editable sources like IMDb are not good enough. Not so important is stuff about her family. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:35, 18 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
