Unfortunately I failed to find much coverage that went into the technical aspects of the game's development, however we do know that 1. FAST Racing League was known for pushing the Wii hardware to it's limits, so much so that the game barely fits in Nintendo's 40 MB WiiWare size limit, and 2. Shin'en has a long history of making games that are technically impressive, as they have been in the industry for a long time and have high programming skill. This is the reason the sequels are famous for bringing triple-A quality graphics to Nintendo hardware. The sequels both have some videos online from Digital Foundry which talk some about how this was achieved, though I could not find much else. -- bonkmaykr.xyz TALK 03:15, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
