Citation relating to Farmer's Union outselling coca cola in South Australia was a dead link and was removed.

Well this is from the other article. It seemed weird to have the articles "iced coffee" and "Iced coffee" link to completely different stories. Now this has a specific page and doesnt come under the broad term. This is in fact only one brand and doesnt encompass all interpretations of what iced coffee is around the world. -Jayzamann 06:59, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

For archives sake let the records show that Jayzamann was incorrect with this post, "iced coffee" and the article of the Australian trademarked name "Iced Coffee" were at the time separate articles. Note the uppercase "C" in Coffee. So his perceived weirdness was probably a result of his misunderstanding of the article names 17:22, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Requested move edit

"Farmer's Union" is grammaticly incorrect. It would be a "Union of Farmer", which makes no sense.
"Farmers' Union" is grammaticly correct ("Union of Farmers"), however, it is not the trade mark.
The trademark is "Farmers Union" (i.e. No apostrophe at all.) Pdfpdf (talk) 15:09, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

  Done - not a controversial move. Parsecboy (talk) 16:18, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Commercials edit

The commercials section does not detail the "crying over spilt milk" series of commercials which were really iconic and probably helped to establish the brand's popularity in SA.

I made this article cuz I heard 2Pac say in in Loyal to the game, as he refeerring to this?? It doesnt make sense!

NPOV / Advertisement Issue edit

It seems to me that the article's discussion of Farmer's Union Iced Coffee will usually resemble an advertisement, given that the article does not discuss a generic product (iced coffee) nor a general brand alone (Farmer's Union or National Foods). Furthermore, the section addressing the advertisements actually used to promote this product in Australia demonstrates the "larrikin" culture surrounding this brand of Australian iced coffee.

I query whether the article actually needs a rider disputing NPOV. To this end I propose the removal of the advert template transclusion. Slicer 12:47, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Iced Coffee.GIF edit

Image:Iced Coffee.GIF is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
