Bay of Confusion, Bay of Mistake, Bay of False Ocean edit

Coming from the East, seeing Cape Hangklip and mistaking it for the Cape of Good Hope, I turn North, imagining I'm following the Western coast of Africa; soon enough I'll discover I had been confused and I'm in a mere bay and not out on the open ocean.

Good names might have been —

  • Bay of Confusion
  • Bay of Mistake
  • Bay of False Ocean

Too bad this somehow became "False Bay".

Aerial photograph depicts the area upside-down? edit

Why is the top-left of this photograph the South-East and not the North-West?

It is very easy to rotate the photograph before uploading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.77.77.249 (talk) 00:25, 1 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree; I am just wondering whether to bother. JonRichfield (talk) 15:42, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Easy enough to replace it with an image providing better detail and less confusion. I have done so. --NJR_ZA (talk) 16:19, 19 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
