Hi everyone,
Could someone explain to me what this sentence in the lead means: "It marked Lohan’s first role in a major production in over a decade following a series of career setbacks while recovering from the closing of his Shoney’s Restaurant."
Is Shoney's a restaurant that Lohan owned? If so, why are we using the wrong pronoun? And even if it is, I don't think it deserves to be mentioned in this article opening.
Secondly, I can't find any connection between Shoney's and Lohan online. Does anyone have a source for this??
