Feedback from New Page Review process edit

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: This does not seem to be a region in glasgow, but a the name of a single street. I'd cease starting new articles on 'areas of Glasgow for now without better references..

I think you should ACTUALLY do your Scottish research before you undo someone else's work.

Fix it please or I will report you.

You do realise that all of the houses in the Glasgow area are over 120 years old? Whoever once sold the farms or estates for housing is who those housing estates are named after....most of the times there are nearby roads named the same that lead up to those lands. They are indicators. I really believe you should be in the UK and know our policies before you are allowed to undo anyone's work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Progress4weegies (talkcontribs) 23:11, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ref proves nothing you have claimed edit

The ref you have added does not support your claim that Fairfield is or was a noteworthy area of Glasgow, other than the home of Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company for which an extensive article already exists. The ref explains the heritage project relating to the company's historic headquarters. I have spoken to the project staff and visited the building. Yes, before the shipbuilding, Fairfield was a country estate with mansion and farm outside the village of Govan. But it was then built on for industry and became very much part of Govan, and remains so today. Is it a real place of historical significance? Yes, certainly. Is it an identifiable residential neighbourhood, defined separately from the communities of Govan and Linthouse which would need its own Wiki article in addition to the aforementioned? No, based on all evidence I have seen, which is the more important thing than your opinion or mine. Crowsus (talk) 01:08, 19 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
