Assessment edit

I have assessed this as a Start Class, as it contains more detail than would be expected from a Stub Class, and of low importance, as it is a highly specialized topic within Canada. Cheers, CP 15:59, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Origin of Name edit

To what does the "faint hope" in the Faint hope clause refer to? What is there a faint hope of, which renders this clause necessary? (Or what "faint hope" does this clause provide?) Or am I misunderstanding it, and it really is the Faint-Hope clause, e.g. named after Mr. Faint and Mr. Hope? In which case, the capitalization of the title should be changed and info about who Mr. Faint and Mr. Hope are should be added to the article. -- 128.104.112.147 (talk) 19:16, 1 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article used to explain that the name was "Faint Hope" because it's so unlikely you're going to get paroled that early, but apparently someone's deleted that for god-knows-why.65.0.125.238 (talk) 17:33, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I haven't looked through the history myself, but my wild guess in the dark is due to a lack of reliable sources. If you have a reliable source that explains the origin of the name, then feel free to add it in again. Singularity42 (talk) 17:41, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
