Tradition OR Modern Day? edit

Just here to posit that this category labelling is lacking. Traditional tattoos are still happening and relevant (and this is acknowledged in the Traditions section). It contrasting "Modern Day" is odd and inconsistent with that fact. Maybe change "Modern Day" to "Modern Western Tattooing," or something of the like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D08:5E78:CF00:1875:EF1C:5EE5:4B0E (talk) 00:39, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Only Rome, eh? edit

I came to the page to see if there was anything included about traditional tattoos from the Artcic regions. I’m dissappoibted about this westernization. I’m sure many other people outside of Europe were given tattoos for reasons other than slavery. Elkpaton (talk) 10:34, 25 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I agree, it doesn't mention Bedouin or Maouri facial tattoos for instance, it needs a good deal of rewriting, probably first splitting into sections Lucaswilkins (talk) 04:32, 19 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
