Is Robert Williams the originator of the notation given, or its populizer? If not, he shouldn't be given prominence in the article, I believe, and should remain a reference. Incidentally, the link is to a generic "Robert Williams" page with no indication which, if any, of the individuals is him -- none are described as a mathemetician, although there is one (red) link to Robert Williams (scientist). andersonpd 02:40, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Williams uses it in his two books in the 1970. I can't connect him to any other books or information. I've read the 1989 book "Tiling and patterns" which uses vertex configuration similar, and brackets around these dual face configurations. Tom Ruen 05:10, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
