Deletion discussion viz notability edit

Notability is unquestionably established viz stock market and financial directory reference links in External links. --Mr Accountable (talk) 18:16, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that's right. Those links support the existence of the company, but that's not enough. Why is the company worthy of notice? In other words, since Wikipedia is not a mere directory, what is it about the company that makes it worth including here? That's the heart of the notability issue. --AndrewHowse (talk) 18:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Google search gives a number of hits. I think that news like this or report like this are enough to establish notability. I will remove the speedy tag. If you want, you could take it to the normal AfD procedure. Beagel (talk) 18:58, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
