I can find no reliable source for the MAGO acronym. An Internet search suggests that it has been invented by Wikipedians, probably German-speaking. Can anybody provide WP:RS for it? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 20:40, 8 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you but that is not the point. The source does not use the acronym "MAGO" (indeed, the official abbreviation it does actually give would suggest that MAAGO, with a double-A, would be more appropriate). MAAGO? Think MAGO =Mobile Ausbildungsanlage Grund Operationen. Is right. The "Military short Code" is also possible but this German Mix of big and smale letters ist not very useful in the English Wikipedia.
