images edit
WIth regret, I removed Pornocrates from the artist infobox. Please restore it if I'm mistaken in thinking that a portrait of the artist usually occupies that spot. Because of the shortness of the article, I then had to place both examples of Rops' work in an image gallery. Cynwolfe (talk) 21:52, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

The Blue Angel edit
Re my edit of 3/12/18, the director of The Blue Angel (Der Blaue Engel), Josef von Sternberg, mentioned the Rops painting in his memoirs, Fun in a Chinese Laundry, but I don't have the page number to quote. Valetude (talk) 20:04, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
