This book contains a copyrighted article that was used without the permission or knowledge of the authors. The authors would never have given permission for the article [Government is Women's Enemy"} to be used in a book with the title "Extremism in America" nor in any book along with the scurrilous groups like the Ku Klux Klan. The authors, who just learned about this infringement, will be consulting a lawyer and contacting NYU Press.
The original pamphlet version of this article was copyright 1979 and was reprinted by permission in 1982 in a book that is also copyrighted. Only two places Lyman Sargent (author of this book) could have found it. If you want to know the authors of the article, contact me.
