Type 100 reference

edit

The article states: "The Type 100 was the only finalized sub-machine gun used by the Japanese although it was more cumbersome then the Type II. It had a 50 round cartridge magazine extending from the pistol grip, a unique feature which would not resurface in sub machine gun design for nearly fifteen years predating the Sa vz. 23 and IMI Uzi..."
This reads as though the Type 100 itself had a pistol grip magazine. Not true - the Type 100 had a side-mount magazine (see the link). I'll attempt to clear up the ambiguous wording...Engr105th (talk) 19:07, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Did some minor re-arranging, to differentiate betwen the Type II and the Type 100. I didn't change any of the words or sentences... I do however question that US forces started the name "bull pup" due to discovering the Type II on the battlefield. Seems to me that nickname name came about much later in weapons development...Engr105th (talk) 19:39, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
