'ExecuJet’s first operation was based at Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1991 as a maintenance provider.

The facility was appointed in 1993 as a Major Service Centre by Honeywell (formerly Allied Signal) and a Learjet Authorised Service Facility by Bombardier.

In 1994 a new business model was integrated as a corporate aviation solution provider and deployed in concert with Bombardier Business Aircraft sales franchise.1995 brought on the appointment as Authorised Service Facility by Canadair and in 1997 ExecuJet opens its first European operation in Denmark (ExecuJet Scandinavia) with an extended sales franchise into Scandinavia by Bombardier.

During 1999 ExecuJet Middle East was established in Dubai and the Bombardier sales franchise expanded to 10 Middle Eastern countries. The same year Bombardier signs a contract with ExecuJet for multi-model aircraft sales.

ExecuJet Australia was founded in 2000 and included an aircraft management and maintenance centre at Sydney Airport and awarded dealership rights for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. The facility was also appointed as Bombardier Authorised Service Facility and Gulfstream Authorised Warranty Repair Facility. ExecuJet expanded its European operations in 2001 with an aircraft management business, a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) and its offices in Zurich became the headquarters for ExecuJet Aviation Group. Bombardier adds Switzerland to ExecuJet’s business aircraft dealership.

In 2002 ExecuJet expanded its services into Latin America with operations at two Mexican Airports in Monterrey. Meanwhile in South Africa that same year, occupation is taken of a new and bigger facility at Lanseria.

Modern facilities in Dubai was opened in 2005 and ExecuJet was appointed as first Middle East Bombardier Authorised Service Centre. In Berlin, ExecuJet acquires equity stake in Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS ), in joint venture partnership with Lufthansa Technik and Bombardier.

During 2006 a FBO at Berlin Schönefeld opened and ExecuJet Australasia opens a line maintenance base in Melbourne, Australia.

2008 was another busy year as ExecuJet acquired a hangar at Singapore’s Seletar Airport where it now oversees maintenance activities. ExecuJet was granted an Air operator’s certificate (AOC) for the United Kingdom with a full service FBO based at London Cambridge. Representative offices were opened in Mumbai, Beijing and Moscow and a newly refurbished FBO at Berlin announced.

In Cape Town, ExecuJet South Africa occupied a new purpose built FBO facility in 2009 in readiness for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

2009 saw ExecuJet being restructured into an OEM independent business model. Later that year ExecuJet Malaysia maintenance base was established in Kuala Lumpur.

In the year 2010 Berlin Airports selected ExecuJet Europe as operator of the General Aviation Terminal and ExecuJet Mexico opened an office at Toluca Airport. In France ExecuJet partnered with Advanced Air Support for the FBO at Paris Le Bourget airport and a JV partnership was established with China SiChuan Haite and ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China was born, based at Tianjin BinHai International Airport.

We saw a lot of activity during 2011 in ExecuJet’s worldwide expansion with the opening of brand new FBO facilities such as Frankfurt, Melbourne, Wellington, Gerona, Ibiza, Barcelona, Valencia and ExecuJet Europe winning the London Cambridge FBO tender. A new FBO was opened at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Turkey run by Bilen Air Service in strategic partnership with ExecuJet.

During 2012 the FBO in London Cambridge was opened and ExecuJet and RUAG announced a partnership FBO in Geneva. Meanwhile in Indonesia an agreement was signed with Angkasa Pura for the management of General Aviation Terminals in Indonesia. In Nigeria an FBO was opened at Lagos and our Dubai office expands the FBO at Dubai International Airport

ExecuJet Australasia celebrated successful expansion with the establishment of Maintenance facilities in Perth in 2013 and ExecuJet Europe further strengthens its presence in the UK at Cambridge Airport. At the same time in the Middle East, ExecuJet expands its presence with a JV with NAS Holdings for an FBO in Riyadh.

2014 was another exciting year for the company with a new FBO facility built in Bali. ExecuJet already started operating from temporary facilities at Bali International Airport. The Bali facility was the first terminal to be opened following the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in June 2012 for ExecuJet to exclusively design, construct and manage GA terminals at up to 13 airports managed by state-owned Indonesian aviation company Angkasa Pura 1. The same year our London Cambridge operations was granted a helicopter AOC and Europe launches helicopter services in the UK.

2015 proved to be year of big changes for ExecuJet when it was acquired by the Luxaviation Group. With Luxaviation, ExecuJet is now part of the second biggest corporate aircraft operator in the world. Luxaviation is headquartered in Luxembourg, and with ExecuJet has a combined staff of 1,500 and a fleet of over 250 business jets. With more than 50 years of experience in business aviation, the Group benefits from a strong network of global partners and close ties with all major manufacturers. ExecuJet began operations in Bali in the same year.

In February 2016, ExecuJet opened FBOs in Munich (Germany), Delhi (India), and a second FBO in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). April saw the opening of a FBO in Monterrey (Mexico) – the first in Latin America, as well as the opening of St. Maarten, Caribbean in June.

In February 2017, ExecuJet opened another FBO in Australia, now also based in Sydney.'

Completions Consulting[edit] ExecuJet has specialised in Completions consulting for a decade. The company works with interior design partners in Europe and North America and has supervised over 30 completion and refurbishment projects.

Affiliations[edit] LBAS[edit] In 2005 ExecuJet acquired an equity stake in Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS), in joint venture partnership with Lufthansa Technik and Bombardier.[17]

Myclimate[edit] In 2013 state-owned Indonesian aviation company Angkasa Pura I selected ExecuJet to manage General Aviation terminals at up to 13 airports in Indonesia, with the Bali General Aviation Terminal at Ngurah Rai International Airport being the first.

In 2007 ExecuJet formed a partnership with the non-profit, environmental foundation myclimate, in order to offer its charter customers worldwide the opportunity to fly carbon neutral. It is the first private jet charter company to align with myclimate.[18]

Berlin Airports[edit] In 2010 Berlin Airports selected ExecuJet Germany as operator of the General Aviation Terminal at Berlin Schönefeld Airport.[19]
