The following biography of Jordan Buckley would have been speedied had I not changed the page to a redirect. His article fails the google test of inclusion, because "every time i die" "jordan buckley" gets only 345 hits. Please do not repost his article until it is significantly longer and his google test generates much higher results. (Remember, Galen Rupp gets 15,000 hits.) Jordan Buckley, born in Rochester NY on November 15, 1981, is a guitarist for the heavy metal band Every Time I Die. Jordan grew up in West Seneca NY and went to the same high school as Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac. Jordan is a talented illustrator, trained as a trumpet player before picking up the guitar, and is partial to ESP guitars and Marshall JCM 800 amps.

And here is Keith Buckley's bio ("every time i die" "keith buckley" gests 530 hits). Ingoolemo talk 05:26, 7 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Keith Buckley (born November 19, 1979) is the lead singer for the heavy metal band Every Time I Die. Keith was born in Rhinebeck NY, hails from West Seneca NY and taught high school English before hitting the road with his brother Jordan Buckley and bandmates Andy Williams, Michael Novak, and various bassists (currently Chris Byrnes). Keith plays piano, guitar, cowbell, and is the lyricist and singer for the band.

The Buckley boys are HOT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.115.4.113 (talk) 17:21, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article makes reference to a DVD, but I can't find any reference to it on the web, was it released bundled with the album? Should this be made clearer?

They released the Shit Happens DVD. This was released in 2006, they released a DVD that went with Hot Damn.

Trivia?

edit

There's nothing trivial about the trivia section. It's just band history, without a proper order.

Some of it is quite trivial. Speaking of history can someone research and post this bands history?

GENRE

edit

Whilst this band contains some elements of Metalcore, their extensive catalogue is a prime example of Southern Metal more so than Metalcore.

Please sign your posts. The new album is very Metalcore as is a lot of their work. Also, we should mention their current tour with Bring Me The Horizon and Architects (UK).

They were a different type of metalcore to the most popular melodeath with breakdowns type that most people now associate with the style, though maybe better generally described as a technical/chaotic hardcore band with metallic and southern riffs than a metalcore band in the style of Converge though. Their sound has changed a lot over the years however Harshmustard (talk) 23:48, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

-On their last three albums, they've shifted away from the mathy metalcore they started with in favor of a more straightforward hardcore/punk sound. They're very comparable to modern hardcore punk bands like Comeback Kid at the moment. Obviously they still have some metalcore and southern rock tendencies, but they have a lot more in common with Comeback Kid, This Is Hell, and the like than they do with Johnny Truant or As I Lay Dying 142.46.142.105 (talk) 01:18, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
