Copyvio edit

I realize User: Lancetrumbull claims to be the director, but this article is both an advert and a copyvio as it was written. Toddst1 (talk) 22:14, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not really sure why this was tagged as copy vio when it could have easily been brought out of copyvio and the weasel words removed. My own sandbox Example. --ImmortalGoddezz 01:34, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is my copyright edit

Dear Todd,

I disagree that this is an advert - it is an overview of the film!

Please take the hold off this. I am the copyright holder - I am the founder and the executive director of The Everest Peace Project and the director of the film. I wrote what is on The Everest Peace Project Web site and since this is the most clear and concise overview of the film I also included it here on Wikipedia.

Please re-instate what was written.

Regards,

Lance Trumbull

Merge proposal edit

It seems that the main goals of Everest Peace Project are the ascent on Kilimanjaro and Everest and the most notable product is the film, Everest: A Climb for Peace. They are so closely linked, I suggest that the two articles be combined, with one redirecting to the other. To give the organization decent coverage, it would make sense to combine these two and have information in one place. Glad to hear other perspectives, especially ones without wp:coi. If you want to do what Todd suggests that is an idea - but how can there ever be "decent coverage" when Todd continues to delete anything that I write or have written and since others posted information that is incomplete or innacurate - in which Todd continues to not let me correct...it is very frustrating...

Disagree - Everest: A Climb for Peace is a movie title and Everest Peace Project is an organisation. Both are two different things. Antaya (talk) 20:51, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I hope Toddst1 don't mind if I remove the merging banners, since both articles are two different things; the movie and the organization. I don't know much about both Everest projects, climbing and all thant s**t but to me, it seems to be two different things. If you matter, please let me know. Greatings. Why to merge an article about a documentary with an article about real event. We do have many examples, when book, and/or movie and an article about real event have different articles. We have none that I know of to combine the two.--Mbz1 (talk) 13:19, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Merge Ali Bushnaq, Dudu Yifrah and Micha Yaniv edit

Do we really need to have three articles on the same topic? The third is Everest Peace Project. Two stub articles, and one full article on essentially the same topic seems a bit untidy. In my opinion, Ali Bushnaq, Dudu Yifrah and Micha Yaniv can stay as is, but then we'll have to merge one of the other two articles into it because it's basically content forking.
