Wrong? edit

Isn't this page completely wrong? From what I've learnt the Event Management Process is resoposible for setting the bouneries for what is a event, whats not and their importance. Example: In the present page we can read: _The CIs are configured to generate a set of events based on the designer’s experience._ If you grasp the full picture, this means its the designer experience that make up the bounderies of whats possible. This is of cource wrong. The Event Mgmnt process is the process that set the rules. Example 1) A designer has a event, but he/she is uncertain of what level of importance it has, so by turing to the Event Mgmnt process - this will be sorted out. Example 2) Something has happened and the rootcause investigation found out that it was the lack of events from the failing parts that was the reason why it took so long to repair. Event management process kicked in and the designer of adressed part was instructed to identify events to be lifted and mapped by severity to appropriate levels according to event management rules. ITIL V3 != ITIL 4 edit

this article use a terminology of ITIL V3.

It's not "wrong" but ITIL V3 != ITIL 4 it's would be "enhanced" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moosh (talkcontribs) 08:05, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
