Should something be said as to the death of Paul Welstone?

big stick

edit

I'm taking out the recent revisions about the hockey stick actually being the world's largest. I don't think that the sources used to justify the statement that the stick is the worlds largest "actual" hockey stick count anymore. The reference refers to the old stick, which is no longer standing, and has since been replaced. See: http://www.evelethmn.com/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={C964B902-7165-4A27-8AD3-EB5627608A89} compared to http://www.evelethmn.com/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={C964B902-7165-4A27-8AD3-EB5627608A89} I don't know if the current stick also qualifies as an actual hockey stick, but the page for the "New Stick" doesn't explicitly say that it does, so I'm assuming it doesn't. I think the new stick is 110 feet long and was made at a glulam factory and probably qualifies an authentic hockey stick. There is a bigger stick in British Columbia but it is steel reinforced. Anyway the picture in this article is the old stick. Maybe somebody could drum up a pic of the new one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Weetoddid (talkcontribs) 20:06, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hockey Stick

edit

I am a graduate from Eveleth High School,1981. The days of Mark Pavelich and the Olympics is 'like' WoW - awesome. Attending hockey games at the 'Hippodrum' is a wonderful memory. Having a movie based on this experience was like 'cool'. I made a special trip up north to see that BIG hockey stick. How about you? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.61.158.87 (talk) 02:32, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
