The Chinese assign/ascribe a lot of purported cures for their herbs, that's true. But I think if the herb is well known for one or two primary uses, as are ginseng, Siraitia grosvenorii, Reishi, valerian, ginkgo biloba, etc., those should be noted. Euryale Ferox same as Lotus Seed? edit
Are Lotus Seed and Euryale Ferox the same? They're both known by the same name in Indian languages, "makhana". There exist two pages on them, and if they're the same, can they be merged?
- No. Lotus seeds are from the Nelumbo genus, which is as different as you can get from Euryale within flowering plants. --Yel D'ohan (talk) 00:19, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
