According to Amphibian Species of the World, 5.0, the correct classification would be as Pseudepidelea viridis [1]. --Eleassar my talk 15:48, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- This is just a suggestion by a few american authors around Darrel Frost. It is too early to decide whether that newly proposed synonym (and the AMNH's whole new taxonomy of amphibians) will be widely accepted or not. In my opinion, there is no need to use that name at this time. But, if you want to do so, you have to change the amphibian taxonomy nearly totally, not just the name of this single toad! -- Fice 11:04, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Moved from User talk:Tom.RedingThe map is taken from Iucn and is highly incorrect. The species Bufo viridis is found in Sweden, Denmark, and also China.
