Old history section edit

This section will need just more than a prose of what the table shows. Plus, it is also out of date. Some general rewrite ideas:

  • Tournament background
  • How did this tournament came to be?
  • Who were involved in initiating the tournament?

History edit

On June 21, 2008, the first European riichi mahjong championship was held in Hannover, Germany for 2 days. Thomas Kragh from Denmark won the championship. Benjamin Boas reached the 2nd place.[1]

On July 10, 2010, the second riichi championship was held in Hannover, Germany again[2][3]
